Navy Women's Invitational, Laser South Regatta
(September 8-9, 2018)
The weekend of September 8-9, Sailors Zoe Harding (‘22), Elizabeth Harrington (‘22), Cece Hopkinson (‘20), and Katie Purcell (‘20) sailed at the Navy Women’s Invitational in breezy conditions both days, placing 16th and 17th. Additionally, Caleb Flowers (‘22) raced in the Laser South Regatta at Navy. Finally, Sailors Colin Suvak (‘19), Kat Catallo (‘20), Hannah Lothrop (‘21), Connor Segal (‘20), and Judson Innes (‘22) sailed in the Riley Cup at Old Dominion University, placing in 10th
Luce Regatta
(September 22-23, 2018)
Sailors Ian Palmer (‘19), Alyssa Price (‘22), Kieran McMahon (‘22), and Alex Knoop (‘20) competed at the Luce Regatta at St. Mary’s. After a weekend of great conditions, our sailors placed in 13th out of 16 teams.
Webb Trophy
(October 13-14, 2018)
Sailors Trent Levy (‘21), Will Ayscue (‘21), Judson Innes (‘22), Alyssa Price (‘21), and Kat Catallo (‘20) sailed in the Webb Trophy at Christopher Newport University. After two days of great conditions, we placed in 3rd!
MAISA Women's Championship
(October 21-22, 2018)
Sailors Emma McPhail-Snyder (‘19), Katie Purcell (‘20), Helen Bechler (‘22), Elizabeth Harrington (‘22), Kieran McMahon (‘22), Hannah Lothrop (‘21), Jillian Ticatch (‘21), and Cece Hopkinson (‘20) competed in the MAISA Women’s Championship, hosted by Cornell University. Day one had very shifty conditions, however day two was breezy and very cold! Congratulations to our sailors for placing 12th out of 16 boats.
